BE A CONCESSION STAND VOLUNTEER



WHO: 

Junior volunteers are defined as full-time students, 13-20 years old who have completed concessions stand training conducted each year and is certified by a concessions manager and the Board of Directors. 

Adult volunteers are defined as being at least 21 years old who have completed concessions stand training conducted each year and is certified by a concessions manager and the Board of Directors.  NOTE:  Adult volunteers are those designated that commit time above and beyond the "Team Time" -- where their son/daughter's team will be scheduled to operate the stand during the season.

TRAINING: 

Countryside LL will provide training to all interested adult and junior volunteers.

Concessions Clinic (mandatory to attend to become an volunteer): This clinic goes over basic concession stand operations and is tailored for Countryside Little League.

NEXT CLINIC:       
Sunday, August 27th
1:00pm – 2:00pm
Countryside Community Park.

Additional concession stand clinics will be scheduled.

GAMES:                

The concession stand is at Countryside Community Park. The league schedules games throughout the week. Volunteers are needed at games during these times:

Saturdays: Games occur throughout the day, typically between 9am – 5pm
Mid-week: Games may be scheduled Mon – Fri, first pitch around 6:30pm

Volunteers are expected to be present at the field at least 30minutes before the first pitch

SCHEDULING:      

Once training is completed and are certified as an umpire, you will be able to sign-up for Countryside LL games. Details of this process will be provided.  NOTE:  Adult volunteers may be scheduled with junior volunteers.

COMPENSATION:

Umpires may be compensated in the following methods:

JUNIOR UMPIRE:

Community Service: Each game/shift is worth 3 hours of community service
Volunteer Service:  For the good of the game, the community, and Countryside LL

ADULT UMPIRE:

Volunteer Service:  For the good of the game, the community, and Countryside LL
Registration Fee Discounts:  Earn discounts for future registrations for your son/daughter(s)

Concessions volunteers may also receive a drink and hot dog after their shift
