Welcome to the Countryside Little League Player Registration

Don't forget to sign up to volunteer as a coach, manager,
or team parent at the time of registration!!!

We offer divisions for players from 4 years old (T-Ball Division) to 16 years old (Seniors Division) in Baseball
and AA to Seniors divisions in Softball.

Little League Baseball age is determined by how old your player will be on August 31, 2023. Little League Softball age is determined by how old player is on January 1, 2023.  To determine Little League age, please click on the following Little League Age charts: 2022 Fall Season will be based off the 2023 Little League Age Chart

All new players must either live or attend a school within the boundaries of Countryside Little League.   Before registering please click on the link below and enter your home address or school address.

T-Ball (Minors) -- 4-5 yr olds
A-Ball (Minors) -- 5-6* yr olds
AA (Minors) -- 7-8 yr olds
AAA -- 9-10 yr olds
Majors -- 11-12 yr olds
Intermediate 50/70 -- 11-13 yr olds**
Juniors -- 13-14 yr olds
Seniors -- 14-16 yr olds

AA -- 6-9 yr olds
AAA -- 9-11 yr olds
Majors -- 10-12 yr olds
Juniors -- 12-14 yr olds
Seniors -- 14-16 yr olds

Players are welcome to try-out for an upper aged division; but full discretion for division placement is solely based on the Independent Evaluator and Player Agent.  If a player decides to try out for an upper aged division, they are still required to attend skills evaluation for their league age division.

* Any 5 or 6 year old without at least 1 prior season of Tball will be required to sign up for Tball rather than A-Ball.

** - Intermediate is a competitive division that follows Junior rules (runners can lead off) on a smaller field. Any player league age 11-13 yrs old that would like to be considered for the intermediate division may register. All interested players are subject to a try out or evaluation to be considered for a spot on the team. Players may choose to play on this team independently or may choose to be dual-rostered, playing for both the majors or juniors and the intermediate team.

City of Clearwater Recreation Card or Youth Co-Sponsor Card Required

The City of Clearwater requires that each player have a valid City of Clearwater OR Non-Resident Youth Co-Sponsor Card to participate in any sport program in the city.

The fee varies depending on if you reside within the City of Clearwater limits, reside in another city, or reside in an unincorporated area. “Non-residents living outside the city of Clearwater limits may purchase a “Non-Resident Youth Co-Sponsor Card” at $120 + tax to participate in the Countryside Little League program.”

If you are not sure if you have a valid card or need to purchase one, we recommend visiting one of the City of Clearwater’s recreation centers (Countryside Recreation center is located at our fields). They can answer any questions you have regarding cost and benefits. Please make sure to tell them you need a Youth Co-Sponsor Card to play Little League Baseball or Softball.
